Solar Thermal Hot Water
Solar thermal technologies provide a way of generating hot water for domestic use using the energy of the sun. We can supply a solar thermal system to suit all requirements and budgets. Typical applications are swimming pool heating, underfloor heating and domestic hot water. By installing one of our solar systems you are eligble for the renewable heat incentive (starting July 2011).

Photovoltaic (Solar Electricity)
Photovoltaic systems generate electricity from the light of the sun and can drastically reduce the household electricity bill. Typically the solar panels are mounted on a roof where light conditions are optimal and where the solar arrays will be out of harms way. We are MCS accredited so you are eligible for the "Feed In Tariff", meaning the electricity company must buy back any excess electricity you don't use. For new installs on existing houses the feed in tariff is 43.3p per unit!

Heat pumps
There are two types of heat pumps: ground source and air source. Ground source heat pumps circulate a mixture of water and antifreeze around a loop of pipe under the ground (usually the garden). Heat from the ground is absorbed into the liquid and compressed into a higher temperature suitable for heating the home and/or hot water supply. Air source heat pumps can be fitted to the outside of the house and extract latent heat from the air. Although air source pumps generally aren't as efficient as ground source they have the advantage of being simple and inexpensive to fit.

Rainwater Harvesting
Rainwater harvesting involves the collection of rain water from the roofs of buildings, storing the water in a tank and then pumping the water back out for later use. Why pay to simply flush the toilet, wash the car or water your garden? You can drastically reduce your water bills by installing a water harvesting system. We can design and install a system to suit all types of buildings and budgets.
